The story of ComCo-OneWorld, Inc. is really the story of it’s president, John Winchester.

In 1981, John joined Garrett Financial Services, eventually being named Executive Vice President. While with Garrett, he increased the company’s monthly sales volume from $20,000 to over $2 million. He added 165 different banks and other lending institutions to the company’s bank leasing program.

In 1982, he started the Winchester Company of Tennessee, which handles small-ticket leasing. In addition, he has been the majority stockholder of two other Sub Chapter S leasing companies.

John joined Communications Leasing Inc. (a subsidiary of Southeastern Telcom, Inc.) in 1987 as president. In 1988 John purchased the portfolio of Communications Leasing Mid-South, Inc. ComCo-OneWorld now manages a lease portfolio of almost $15,000,000.00 with over twenty banks and other funders in six states.

John Winchester served for 6 years on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Equipment Leasing Brokers and was the regional director of the northeast region as well as serving as chairman of the education committee.

John also served on the board of directors of the Certified Leasing Professionals(CLP).

John is a founding member of One World Leasing Inc, the leasing Co-Op, and served as chairman on their board of directors. OneWorld Leasing, Inc. is a Co-Op make of leasing company members. The members represent in excess of $300,000,000 of equipment financing per year. Because of the volume of the Co-Op competitive financing can be arranged thru our preferred funders nationwide.
